Sikelelwa Sandor, was born into a family of five in Port Elizabeth. At 35 years old and with three children, Sikelelwa struggled to make ends meet while self-employed.
“After completing my college, I became self-employed, selling different products from different companies, unfortunately I could not make any meaningful amount of money”
After her father’s death in a car accident. She fell into depression and could not support herself and her family. Fortunately, a friend introduced Sikelelwa to TCB, and in February 2021, she began her journey with the organisation.

TCB’s East London branch provided Sikelelwa with professional help, counselling sessions, sisterhood, and support. With TCB’s guidance, she learned vital skills like budgeting and saving, improving customer relationships, and building confidence.
Sikelelwa was empowered to overcome obstacles and turn her life around. Her sales improved, and she was able to support her family and save for rainy days.
